Textures for Ultra Fractal.I like complex textures and especially distorted shapes. A few months ago I found this on Internet.

It's a small tutorial for making textures by Mark Townsend.
He also gives parameters of some examples which I pasted into Ultra Fractal and modified for my own use.
They are complex and very attractive.
A few days ago I used some to make the fractal underneath.

Raspberry Feature + Contests
Hi everyone, I am sorry I haven't been around. I was busy updating my computer, when something really weird happened. DeviantArt was really affected. Come to find out, my Java scripting updates were out of whack. I guess Java doesn't like Firefox, so I have download the loathsome Internet Explorer. After two weeks of several meltdowns, I finally figured out what was going on. DRAMA!
Memorial weekend was wet, cold, but wonderful. My family and I had a wonderful time. We cleaned out the storage unit, placed flowers on the graves of loved ones and I hung out with the children. Hooray!

Butterfly Feature + Contest Updates
My cat, Yoshi, is very sick. He doesn't want me to touch him. He hisses and tried to bit me when I try to hold him. However, he wants to sleep next to me or be close to me. He sleeps A LOT for a cat. Yoshi has a vet appointment on Thursday. I hope the vet can find out what in the world is wrong with him.
My nephew got his stitches removed. He is doing very well. Thank you for all the comments and concerns. BIG HUG!

I'm a 27 year old application specialist from Canada. I've been making fractal art since 2005.

What is the first thing that makes you attracted to Fractal Art?
When I started making fractals, i was interested in expressing my creativity, but didn't know how to pursue that. Making cool pictures with Apophysis filled that. Also, trying to figure out what Apophysis did in the background really intrigued the analytical/mathematical side of me.
As time has gone on my interest has moved toward the infinite nature of fractals, and working to make more possible with Apophysis.

I've been around on deviantArt for about 7 years now. My name is Stan and I'm an avid learner and artist. I freelance as a graphic designer and artist and have had the privilege of working on some very cool projects that use my fractal artwork.
What is the first thing that makes you attracted to Fractal Art?
I love the depth of fractals. The unlimited potential really appeals to me. You could take one formula, study it, explore it for years, and still not see absolutely everything there is to see. With all the variables available fractals are a constant discovery.

My name is ~piethein21 im 22 years old and living in Holland. Been making fractals for over a year now (time flies when you are having fun I guess). Started of with using random batches to t
Project Educate - Fractal Week - Nature of FRACTALIn the begining there was vast, unmeasurable empty space, waving & contracting.
The gravitational pull & density was so strong to condense into a big dwarf exceeding all reality sizes ...and then it suddenly happened the BIG BANG !!

All molecules & fragments of the dwarf got to travel at light speed to different of cosmos, forming new systems, and galaxies.

The seeds of life got scattered into remote places - one of them fell on earth and started to grow ;) The evolution at early stages forming terrains, bodies of
water & atmosphere above the planet surface. And then - everything grew in proportional neverending chains of F R A C T A L S

All this was caring hope for new LIFE - the molecules dancing, splitting,pulling each other closer build the first blocks of DNA (fractalized models, as you can see).
